Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister H.K. Patil announced that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has been given full authority to finalise the schedule and other logistical arrangements for the session. The winter session in Belagavi has traditionally been part of the government’s commitment to strengthen legislative presence in the northern region of the state.

During the meeting, the cabinet also reviewed the status of reports from various cabinet sub-committees. Patil noted that three sub-committees, which had not submitted their reports for more than six months, have now been instructed to complete and submit them without further delay. These reports are expected to include key recommendations on governance, administration, and public welfare.

The upcoming session in Belagavi is anticipated to focus on regional development issues, ongoing state projects, and policy decisions ahead of the new year.
