Officials stated that while a 10% annual increase is normal, the recent New Delhi bomb blast has prompted enhanced security measures. Over 6,000 police personnel will be deployed this year, compared to 4,000 last year.

The session will also feature an elaborate food spread, with daily menus showcasing regional cuisines including jowar roti, sajji kadak roti, akki rotti, chapathi, a variety of chutneys, rice dishes, and popular sweets such as kunda, karadantu, Mysuru Pak, dal halwa, gajjari halwa, motichoor undi, jamoon, godihuggi and ras malai.
So far, the State Government has spent a total of ₹169.6 crore on the previous 13 Winter Sessions. To accommodate legislators and officials attending the meet, the district administration has booked around 4,100 rooms across Belagavi.
