Preparations are in full swing for the Karnataka Legislature’s winter session scheduled to begin on December 8 in Belagavi. Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Roshan chaired a review meeting at the Suvarna Vidhana Soudha on Wednesday, directing all committees and sub-committees to complete their assigned tasks with precision and coordination.

The DC emphasized ensuring proper arrangements for accommodation, food, transport and logistics for ministers, legislators, officials and staff attending the session. Separate food counters will be set up inside Suvarna Vidhana Soudha for different groups.
To facilitate student visits, regular minibuses will be arranged from the main gate to the building. Liaison officers appointed for senior officials have been instructed to maintain smooth coordination throughout the session.
Roshan called on all departments to work together and ensure a seamless, complaint-free winter session, similar to previous years.
