Security has been intensified following recent national alerts. Over 6,000 police personnel, including senior officers, will be deployed round the clock. Prohibitory orders have been enforced within a 3-km radius of the SVS, supported by drone surveillance, dog squads, and bomb detection teams. While police have received 47 protest requests, permissions will be tightly regulated, and the Maharashtra Ekikaran Samiti’s proposed Mahamelava on day one has been denied.

Authorities are also working to prevent congestion on the Pune–Bengaluru highway, which sees nearly 16,000 vehicles daily. Any blockage could cause major disruptions, prompting officials to plan alternative measures to keep traffic flowing.
Temporary accommodation for police personnel has been arranged across 12 locations, including barracks, guest houses, and a tent city in Shindoli. Warm blankets and hot water facilities are being provided due to the winter chill. Officials noted that past sessions saw multiple incidents of violence, and this year’s enhanced measures aim to reduce risks and ensure a smoother, safer session.
