In an effort to address the growing traffic congestion in Belagavi city, City Police Commissioner Bhushan Borase has proposed allocating separate parking spaces for private buses at four locations across the city.
The proposal was discussed during a meeting held with private bus drivers under the chairmanship of the City Police Commissioner. During the meeting, various measures to ease traffic flow and reduce congestion caused by improper parking of private buses were deliberated.
Commissioner Borase stated that providing dedicated parking areas for private bus operators is expected to significantly improve traffic movement, especially in busy and congested areas of the city. The police department will work in coordination with private bus owners to finalize the locations and implement the plan.
