The Bharata Hunnime fair was celebrated with great devotion at Yellamma Hill near Ugaragol on Sunday, attracting a large number of devotees from across Karnataka and other states. The hill witnessed a festive atmosphere as devotees gathered to offer prayers to Goddess Yellamma.

Devotees began arriving two days ahead of the fair, and by Saturday night the entire hill area was crowded. The air resonated with chants praising the goddess as devotees queued for darshan from midnight onwards. Many prepared food offerings along the roadside, while Jogati performances and cultural programmes added to the religious fervour.
The temple authorities arranged separate bathing facilities with hot water for men and women near the oil pond. To ensure safety and smooth movement, police deployed tight security, used drone cameras for surveillance, and implemented one-way traffic on the Yellamma Hill–Saundatti–Jogulabhavi route.
