Belagavi District Collector Mohammad Roshan has issued a strong warning against the illegal cutting of trees on government land at Badal Ankalagi village in Belagavi taluk, stating that strict legal action will be taken without any leniency against the culprits.
Speaking to the media in Belagavi on Tuesday, the District Collector said that cutting of government-owned trees can be carried out only after obtaining prior approval from the concerned department. He emphasized that any violation of rules related to tree felling will be dealt with severely.

The District Collector reiterated that protecting public property and the environment is a priority for the district administration and warned that those involved in illegal tree cutting will face legal consequences.
