Officials stated that the district currently has 98 LPG distribution agencies supplying both domestic and commercial cylinders, and all agencies have adequate stock to meet consumer demand. LPG production and bottling across the country remain high, ensuring a steady supply in the district.

The department has urged consumers not to panic or stockpile additional cylinders. To regulate supply and prevent misuse, an inter-booking period of 45 days has been fixed for each consumer from the date of their last refill.

Consumers facing any issues can contact the tahsildar’s office in their respective taluk or the district deputy director (food) office by calling 0831-2407282. Authorities also requested the public to report any illegal sale of LPG cylinders through the same helpline number.
