Belagavi police have arrested seven interstate thieves involved in multiple house-theft cases across several districts in Karnataka.

The gang had allegedly broken into a house in Vidyanagar area of Harugeri town by breaking the lock and stole 28 tolas of gold ornaments worth ₹22 lakh and 1.5 kg of silver पूजा items worth ₹1.3 lakh from a locker.
After a complaint was filed, Harugeri police formed a special team and arrested the accused, who are natives of Maharashtra. The arrested include Ravi Anna Shinde (32), Sunil Natha Pawar (27), Shankar alias Bihari Jadhav (25), Dilip Tukaram Shinde (25), Kishor Rajbahu More (27), Vinod Gangaram Shinde (23), and Mithun Chimmaji Jadhav.

Police have recovered gold ornaments and a car worth ₹36.11 lakh from the accused.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the gang was involved in several thefts in places including Athani, Ugar, Rabkavi, Chikkamagaluru, Kalaburagi, Vijayapura, Kolar, Harapanahalli, Chitradurga, Ramanagara, Tumakuru, Bagalkot, Davanagere, Gadag, and Hassan.
