The nearly 98-year-old temple is known for its unique clay idol and has remained in its original condition despite being submerged under water for the last 51 years. Every year, the temple becomes visible only for about 15 to 20 days during May, attracting devotees and visitors from nearby regions.

According to local resident Vitthal Pisutri, the water level near the temple started receding on Tuesday as water from the reservoir is being released into the Ghataprabha River. He said the area is expected to become more accessible for visitors by Wednesday or Thursday.

The rare sight of the submerged temple emerging from the water has once again drawn attention among devotees and tourists.
