humans, to fight the COVID-19 aka Coronavirus. It has been a new normal for almost all of us to carry a sanitizer and wear a mask, whenever we head out for any work these days. This COVID-19 has thought to us that it is necessary for us to clean our hands as frequently as possible and whatever be the scenario, never let the mask go down from the face.
India ranks second in the global ranking of the most affected country after the US, from coronavirus with about more than 6.9 million cases. The only to avoid ourselves getting added to that number is by wearing a mask.
But there are still some people who are in no fear about the coronavirus and roaming around freely without masks. To tackle them the Government of Karnataka had imposed a fine of 1000 rupees and 500 rupees in urban and rural area respectively for all the people who are found roaming without any mask on the road.
But due to heavy opposition from the public and some experts, the government has decided to reduce the fine from 1000 rupees to 250 rupees in the urban area and from 500 rupees to 100 rupees in the rural area.
