शांताई वृद्धाश्रम मधील आजी आजोबांनी आज शुक्रवारी सहलीचा आनंद लुटला. काकती येथील सिद्धेश्वर मंदिर, कणबर्गी येथील मंदिर,किल्ल्यातील कमलबस्ती, रामकृष्ण आश्रम तसेच कपिलेश्वर मंदिरात धार्मिक सहल आणि किल्ला तलावात नौका विहार अशी ही सहल झाली.
सहलीच्या माध्यमातून आज्जी आजोबांच्या चेहऱ्यावर हास्य फुलवण्याचा प्रयत्न शांताई तर्फे दरवर्षी केला जातो. यावर्षी कोरोना मुळे जास्त लांब सहल काढता येत नसल्याने जवळच्या जवळ ही सहल काढण्यात आली होती.
दुपारच्या सत्रात पै रिसॉर्ट येथे पै कुटुंबियांच्या वतीने भोजनाची सोय करण्यात आली होती. यावेळी कोरोना काळात स्मशानभूमीत सेवा बजावलेले तसेच रुग्णवाहिकांच्या माध्यमातून सेवा बजावणाऱ्या मंडळींना भोजनाचा लाभ देण्यात आला होता.
दर्शन उद्योग समूहाचे आष्कीन आजरेकर यांनी खास नौका विहाराची सोय करून दिली. आजी आजोबा तसेच कोरोना वारीयर्स चा कपिलेश्वर देवस्थान समितीतर्फे सत्कार करण्यात आला.
