Belagavi, June 22: An unidentified man was found dead after allegedly hanging himself at the APMC Vegetable Market in Belagavi on Sunday morning.

According to local residents, the deceased had been staying in the market area for the past few days. He reportedly survived by collecting empty bottles and spent his nights within the market premises.
The body was discovered hanging in front of a closed shop inside the market, causing concern among traders and locals.
Upon receiving information, personnel from the APMC Police Station rushed to the spot, conducted a preliminary inspection, and shifted the body for further procedures. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
Police are currently working to establish the identity of the deceased and determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
