Belagavi, June 25: Member of Parliament Jagadish Shettar addressed the second-day programme of the “Second Vision Karnataka-2026” exhibition held at the KLE Dr. Jirage Auditorium in the JNMC Campus, Belagavi.

The exhibition aims to provide comprehensive information about various Central Government schemes, technological innovations, and development initiatives. Speaking on the occasion, Shettar emphasized the importance of public awareness and active participation in developmental programmes to achieve long-term growth.

A key highlight of the event was the seminar on “Viksit Belagavi – 2047,” where experts from diverse sectors shared their insights and recommendations on the city’s future development. Discussions focused on infrastructure expansion, industrial growth, technological advancement, and other projects that could help transform Belagavi into a developed city by 2047.

Among those present were MLC Hanamant Nirani, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Roshan, Bhushan Borase, Bagalkot University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Anand Deshpande, Probationary IAS Officer Rohit Singh, industrialists Avinash Potdar and Sachin Shabanish, along with Kavita Mishra, R.S. Nayak, Dr. Madhav Prabhu, Pankaj Rayamane, Dr. Rajashekhar, officials from various Central Government departments, students, and members of the public.

The event served as a platform for meaningful discussions on Belagavi’s development vision and future growth strategies under the broader goal of a Viksit Bharat by 2047.
