Now that the State Elections Commissioner Sanjeev Kumara has arrived in Belgaum in the wake of the by-poll election of the Lok Sabha constituency, the elections can be announced at any time sooner.
The by-poll election may be announced early for the Belgaum Lok Sabha constituency, because the position has been vacant since the death of Suresh Angadi Sir.
It seems obvious that Sanjeev Kumara has come here to review the preparations. He is expected to even hold a press conference soon.
There will be simultaneous polls for a few other constituencies in the state too and the dates could be announced soon.
