To manage increased passenger demand during Sankranti festival and Republic Day, South Western Railway has announced special express train services between Mysuru and Belagavi.

The Mysuru–Belagavi Special Express (Train No. 06285) will depart from Mysuru at 8:40 pm on January 13, 16 and 23, reaching Belagavi at 10:30 am the next day.
The Belagavi–Mysuru Special Express (Train No. 06286) will leave Belagavi at 5:30 pm on January 15, 18 and 26, and arrive in Mysuru at 6:15 am the following day.

These special trains will halt at Mandya, KSR Bengaluru, Yeshwantpur, Tumakuru, Arsikere, Kadur, Chikkajajur, Davangere, Harihar, SSS Hubballi, Dharwad, Alnavar, Londa and Khanapur stations.
Each train will have 23 coaches, including AC 2-tier cum AC 3-tier, AC 3-tier, Sleeper Class, General Second Class and SLR/D coaches.
