According to the police, the drive targeted vehicles operating without registration plates, with concealed number plates, or with only one number plate displayed. Officials stopped the vehicles, verified their documents, imposed fines on the violators, and educated riders about the importance of displaying valid registration numbers. The vehicles were released only after the owners installed proper number plates.

Police said similar enforcement drives will continue across Belagavi city in the coming days. Strict action will be taken under the Motor Vehicles Act against those found violating registration plate rules.
The Traffic Police have urged all vehicle owners and riders to comply with traffic regulations and ensure their vehicles carry properly displayed registration number plates to avoid legal action.
