Belagavi: City Municipal Corporation Commissioner Karthik M. has directed officials to urgently repair pothole-ridden roads across the city following complaints from motorists and residents.

Presiding over a meeting, the Commissioner said continuous rainfall has worsened road conditions, with several potholes filled with water, making them difficult to spot and increasing the risk of accidents.
He instructed engineers from all municipal divisions to identify and fill potholes at the earliest to ensure safe and smooth traffic movement.
The Commissioner also expressed concern over roads dug up by L&T for water supply pipeline works. He directed the company to complete pending works and properly restore the roads without further delay.
With the Ganesh festival approaching, officials and engineers were asked to speed up all pending road works and address public complaints on priority.
