Belagavi: With the Ganesh festival less than two months away, HESCOM has begun raising the height of power lines across Belagavi to ensure the safe
10 bicycles donated to 25 children from remote Kajirne Dhangarwada in Chandgad Taluka. From the village of 25 Girls & boys on Kazirne Dhangarwada in the remote area of Chandgad taluka to Government New English High School (7/8 km) to Chandgad and back to school in the evening, the daily (15/16 km) walking through the forest road ended with ‘Operation Madat’.
Donors like Victor Francis, Baban Kugaji, Akshay Hunshikatti, Prasad Patil, Dr Surekha Pote, Chandrakant Dhamnekar, Dr Rajashree Angol, Gitanjali Redkar, Vijay Badra, Santosh Angolkar, Prashant Birje, Dr Ketaki Pavaskar helped to make this project a success.

At present, guidance and assistance is being provided from time to time to the students of the school at Dhangarwada in the remote areas of Khanapur taluka and Chandgad taluka.
