The demand for the same has been being asked by the workers for many years. And the struggle of transport employees is still going on. The employees merely demand to consider them into the government sector. This is so because, the KSRTC workers will not be getting any pension after retirement, they are asked to work for more than 8 hours sometimes, and another additional demand is to give 30 lakhs rupees compensation for those workers who sacrificed their lives while working as a Covid-19 frontline warriors.
