Belagavi: Shivananad Neelannavar, one of the key accused in the alleged ₹4,500 crore fraud case, has been granted interim bail by the 92nd City Civil and Sessions Court in Bengaluru.

While granting bail, the court imposed several conditions, directing Neelannavar not to leave the country, tamper with evidence, influence witnesses, or evade the legal process. The court also instructed him to cooperate with the investigation.
Following the bail order, Neelannavar is expected to be released from Belagavi’s Hindalga Central Prison on Monday or Tuesday after completing the necessary legal formalities.

Neelannavar was arrested on charges of allegedly collecting thousands of crores of rupees from members of the public and former servicemen by luring them with promises of high investment returns. The case, which has drawn significant public attention, involves allegations of large-scale financial fraud.
Advocates R.G. Patil and Sudhir Nirvani represented Neelannavar during the bail proceedings before the Bengaluru court.
The investigation into the alleged fraud remains ongoing, and authorities are continuing to examine the financial transactions linked to the case.
