It is so good to see how the city is speeding up to become a smart one. The roads are being dug up to renovate and change of bitumen road into cement roads is being done everywhere. It really feels exciting for all the Belgaumites to imagine how the city will look after some years when the project will be done completely.
Alas, as they say everything has its own advantages and limitations. There are a lot of roads in Belagavi city which are being ignored as they don’t connect to any main roads. Due to this, the residents in the neighborhood are facing huge issues such as dust. One of the residents has sent us some images which explains how dust is sitting in their premises like the gate end and on their bikes. Not only this makes the premises look bad, but also can create huge health issues like Asthma and many more if the person inhales it everyday.
It’s high time that the smart city officials should understand the importance of small roads which they ignore feeling that these roads aren’t important. Team Marvelous Belgaum urges these officials to build or renovate the current roads which are in bad conditions and stop any kind of health accidents happening, be it physical or mental health.
