Belagavi: Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) has set a new benchmark by declaring the results of the 6th semester BE/BTech examinations within just five minutes of the exam’s conclusion.

A total of 60,856 students appeared for the examination, which ended at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The university announced the results at 5:35 p.m., recording an overall pass percentage of 76.84%.
VTU Vice-Chancellor Prof. S. Vidyashankar said the university accelerated the evaluation process to ensure students receive their results as quickly as possible. He also appreciated the efforts of the university administration, examination wing, and affiliated colleges for making the achievement possible.
Registrar (Evaluation) Prof. U. J. Ujwal said the milestone was achieved through digital evaluation and meticulous planning, enabling the university to complete the assessment process well ahead of previous timelines.
