Recently Belagavi was reported number one in list of Udaan airports for activities post Covid-19. Within a few weeks of this great news, there is another news to celebrate. Belagavi is gonna get a flying school.
Yes you read it right. Belagavi is one among the six cities that the Airports Authority of India (AAI) has listed and approved to build a flying school. AAI tweeted ‘We will soon come up with requests for proposals for these six airports”. “With the growing demand for pilots in the country, and also many of the youths are attracted towards flying an Aeroplane. This led us to increase the numbers of flying school” said one of the officials of AAI. Kalburgi or Gulbarga is also in the list of new flying schools. There are total 6 cities in the list and out of which 2 belong to Karnataka.
