Adequate sanitation and toilets are those necessities that ensure and promote the health of people in developing countries. We face a lot of challenges in accessing sanitation and hygiene care. Seeing the situation which we are facing right now, we need to understand that we have to keep our environment clean in order to not spread more diseases.
People are having many health issues like diarrhea, trachoma etc. which causes death especially in the village area where people don’t have the basic need. Some diseases also cause due to water if is contaminated.
Sanitation systems aim to protect human health by providing a clean environment that will stop spreading diseases. Today nearly 2.4 millions of people are struggling to stay healthy, keep their children alive, and work their way to a better living all for the want of a toilet
Talking about our city Belagavi, there is no proper sanitation and toilets in our city and even if some toilets are there in the city then there is no cleanliness and proper hygiene is not maintained.
Our city should have toilets in each area of the city and should be maintained with proper cleanliness and hygiene. Each area should have a trash bin and it should be disposed time to time in order to maintain cleanliness and also to prevent various diseases. We the people of the city should also understand that it’s not only the duty of the government to maintain the toilets but also the people, we should see that we keep clean toilets and have a proper hygiene.
