Belagavi, April 23: District Commissioner Mohammad Roshan visited key locations in and around Belagavi city on Thursday evening to review water supply systems and inspect riverbank conditions.

The inspection began at the Rakkaskoppa Dam, the primary source of drinking water for the city. The DC assessed the current water levels and supply management to ensure adequate availability for residents.
He also visited Ambewadi Bridge and Kangrali areas to examine local infrastructure and monitor the situation on the ground.
As part of the visit, Mohammad Roshan inspected several spots along the Markandeya River, focusing on safety measures and overall conditions in the riverbank regions.

Officials accompanying the DC included the Project Director of DUDA Belagavi, Executive Officers of the Taluk Panchayat, and engineers from the Karnataka Urban Water Supply and Drainage (KUWS) Department.
The visit aimed to review preparedness, strengthen water management, and ensure proper monitoring of key locations in the district.
