Women’s from Ambewadi, Mannur and Gojga villages had to visit the Gram Panchayat frequently to get employment through the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme. Even then, the panchayat did not care about the poor workers. As a result, many workers were left jobless. More than 30 Kayak Bandhu from Gojga, Mannur and Ambewadi villages met recently to resolve these issues, At that meeting, it was decided to hold a strike.
