Yesterday SEVA Team got a call from Social Activist Mr. Avdhut Tudavekar & Santosh Darekar Head of Facebook Friends Circle that a elderly Homeless person is sleeping under a Closed Shop in Open at Deshpande Galli Belgaum. SEVA Team immediately reached the spot and Mr. Akib Bepari of Team SEVA spoke to him to enquire from where he has come & to find out whether he is a locality of Belgaum City or from Outstation.
He informed that his name is Shri Purandar Tatya Saheb Gundawade (age 80+) from Sangali . His children stay in Jaising Pura in Maharashtra. His son name is Sanju and Grand son name is Rutu and they live in Jaisingpura in Maharashtra. He speaks Marathi, English, Hindi fluently.
Team SEVA then shifted him to a Government Shelter Home for Homeless at Khasbhag. Also this information was immediately shared with the Police Department. Deputy Commissioner of Police Mr. Ravindra Kashinath Gadadi apricated the Noble work of Team Seva.
Team Seva thanked DCP Ravindra sir & all Police Department for their immediate help and support. Team of SEVA present were: Akib Bepari, Ganesh Deshpande, Shanawaz Bargir, Imtiyaz Shaikh.
