Belagavi: Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) has announced the results of the BE and BTech final semester examinations within just 10 minutes after the completion of the last exam, setting a new benchmark in academic administration.

VTU Vice-Chancellor Dr. S. Vidyashankar and Registrar (Evaluation) U.J. Ujwal released the results on Friday. Students can access their results on the official website: https://results.vtu.ac.in.
According to the university, a total of 56,192 students appeared for the examinations. The final exam concluded at 5.30 p.m., and the results were published by 5.40 p.m. Results were also sent directly to students through mobile messages.
Calling it a historic achievement, Dr. Vidyashankar said VTU’s adoption of digital technology and efficient evaluation methods made the rapid declaration possible. He added that quick results help final-year students applying for jobs and higher education opportunities.
Registrar (Evaluation) U.J. Ujwal said the university implemented digital evaluation of answer scripts and completed preparations well in advance with the support of faculty members and staff.
VTU has consistently reduced the time taken to announce results over the years. In 2025, results were declared within one hour, in 2024 within three hours, while in 2023 students had to wait two days after the examinations.
