Incomplete inauguration? Statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at Rajhans Gad.
Rajhans Gad (Fort) Yallur is one of the most attractive places in Belagavi city. It’s nearly 20 kilometres from the central bus stand of Belagavi. The fort is located in beautiful scenery. Today i.e. March 2, 2023 (Thursday), the inauguration of the Great Maratha King, Mughal destroyer, and Hindavi Swarajay Staphak Chatrapati Shri Shivaji Maharaj Statue at Rajhans Gad fort Yallur took place in the presence of CMO Karnataka Shri Basavraj Bommai ji and all other respected MPs, MLAs, leaders, Rajhans Gad Temple Committee members, and the public.
The statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is very adorable and increases the beauty of RajHans Gad Fort, but we feel the inauguration or unveiling of Ch. Shivaji Maharaj’s statue should be done only after the work is completed. We have visited RajhansGad to be a part of the inauguration or unveiling of Ch. Shivaji Maharaj’s statue, although while travelling towards RajhansGad we saw too many political cutouts and hoardings, which shows it was not at all about the inauguration, it was all about fights between two political parties in the name of inauguration. Secondly, when we reached RajhansGad, we saw the entrance of the fort was not yet completed, the road work was incomplete, the compound was not coloured, lighting polls were not installed, the green grass was incomplete, Most important the symbol of Ch. Shivaji Maharaj and Hindu Pratik saffron flags were also not hosted during the inauguration.
So was it an incomplete inauguration?
